I know Craig personally, having met him on several occasions through shared interests during our free time. On one such occasion—after I posted a request on a public forum—he volunteered to help a complete stranger (as I was to him at the time) with a small but challenging task. We ended up spending an entire evening together, and he didn’t stop until I was fully satisfied with what I had learned and the task was successfully completed.

Beyond being impressed by his passion, problem-solving mindset, and hands-on skills, what struck me most was his ability to explain things with remarkable clarity. His approach was structured, sequential, and highly pragmatic, reflecting both genuine dedication and generosity.

I have no doubt that these soft skills will serve him well and greatly benefit anyone fortunate enough to work with him in a professional setting.

Craig worked with me for a year as a mechanical design student at Apollo Fire Detectors. During that time he demonstrated a passion for engineering and attention to detail that he applied to every single task he worked on. He was a pleasure to work with and was well regarded by every member of the team at Apollo. 

Craig's data driven approach and commitment to understanding all aspects of a problem meant he was able to work independently, often using novel approaches, to solve problems on his own despite his relative lack of experience. 

Over the course of the year Craig demonstrated his desire to develop by seeking out unfamiliar work and taking on board feedback to ensure he was always improving. He consistently developed his technical and soft skills to ensure the work he completed was of the highest possible standard.
